These Consumer Card Terms (US) apply to eligible users who access card services through Liqwifi in the United States. Card services are offered through licensed issuing and processing partners. By activating or using a card, you agree to these Terms and all applicable partner disclosures.
1. Card Program and Issuer Relationship
Liqwifi is a financial technology platform operated by Urban Intelligence Ltd and is not a bank.
Cards are issued and managed by licensed partner institutions. The cardholder agreement and regulatory disclosures provided at issuance also apply.
2. Eligibility and Verification
You must satisfy onboarding, identity verification, and compliance checks before card issuance or continued card use.
Liqwifi and its partners may request additional information at any time.
3. Card Usage
- Use the card only for lawful personal consumer transactions.
- Do not use the card for prohibited activities under Liqwifi policies or applicable law.
- Certain merchant categories, geographies, and transaction types may be blocked by risk controls.
4. Funding, Limits, and Fees
Transaction limits, funding rules, and applicable fees are disclosed in-product or in program disclosures and may change in line with card partner requirements and legal obligations.
You are responsible for ensuring sufficient available balance before authorizing transactions.
5. Authorization, Holds, and Settlements
Card transactions may be authorized for an amount that differs from final settlement due to merchant behavior, tips, exchange movements, or reversals.
Temporary authorization holds may reduce available balance until settled or released.
6. Lost, Stolen, or Compromised Cards
You must report lost, stolen, or compromised cards immediately through in-app controls or hello@liqwifi.com so protection measures can be applied promptly.
7. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a transaction is unauthorized or incorrect, notify Liqwifi promptly. Investigations, dispute timelines, and provisional credit (if any) will follow applicable network and issuer rules.
8. Suspension and Termination
Card access may be suspended or terminated for security, risk, legal, or policy reasons, including breaches of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
